Topic – THE FUTURE DESTINY OF SANCTIFIED CONQUEROR

Text – Revelation 2:7; 3:21,22; Luke 15; Revelations 2:2,9,13,19; 3:1,8,15; Revelations 2:7,11,17,26; 3:5,12,21

Jesus wrote His own hearts, epistles, letters to the churches. He spoke from His own heart to the churches. We come to a special study tonight, we are looking at something that tells us about our destiny, destination that God has for us in the future.

Jesus spoke about the final destiny of believers, the abode, habitation of God, a place where angels are, a place of glory and beauty. And it is meant for those that overcome. There are thrones in heaven. And as the Sovereign, Lord and king, He sits on His throne, and for us that overcome, He will grant opportunity to sit on our own throne. Jesus overcame consistently, constantly, privately, publicly and every time.

You must hear, learn the word of God, and make up your mind to fulfil what we are hearing tonite.

Jesus Christ is the Husband, Bridegroom of the church, and He is gone to heaven, a far country, and He is sending message to us from heaven, so we as the bride of Christ should be happy to hear from Christ, just as the wife will be very happy to hear from her husband that is is a far away country.

Jesus knows every detail of the church He left behind. He knows every thing that is happening in His absence. He tells every church and believer, that He knows everything about the bride. Because He is Lord, Saviour, Christ, Vigilant and Obersevant, He knows.

Also in every church, He is looking for overcomers. The people that will get to heaven at last, the future destiny of the righteous, those that overcome, not the name nor position nor title you hold in the church, not a denomination, but he that overcomes. It is good to hear the Bible Study, and hear from a truth preacher, but then if what you hear gives you grace to be saved, and then when temptation comes, you overcomes, that is great.

People that are consistent, saved and living the life, sanctified and living the life, consistently in righteousness, those are the overcomers. Are you an overcomer? Everything we have study, are you an overcomer?

Why do we come to church? It is to go and hear the word of God, and that word gives us the grace and power to overcome. That is why we go to revival services, so that the Spirit will come alive in us, and we will be overcomer.

You will qualify to be an overcomer.

Then thirdly, He gives a promise – Revelations 2:7,10,17,26-28; 3:5,12,21,22

Sometimes there is a little bit of suffering, even with what we do in life. For the pregnant woman, there is pain and suffering in pregnancy. There are times of pains, pressures, challenges, troubles when we come to the christian faith. Thats is the reason whatever it takes, you will go through that suffering and challenges and I will get to heaven.

There is a promise at the end of the road when you overcome. He is a Faithful Rewarder and He will surely rewards us in Jesus Name.

He that overcomes, keep on overcoming, it takes the grace and power of God through Jesus Christ that lives in us.

The Lord is making a provision for us, that if you overcome, He will give. Look at your life, if you never overcome any challenge, problem, trials, temptation, your life is a record of falling and falling, how are you going to get any reward from heaven.

He gives all the promises to every church, every believer and every one that follows the Lord.

The absent husband knows that other men will try to seduce his wife, and he will send letters to ask if the wife is still faithful, the same Christ is doing here to His church, He is sending letters from heaven asking if we are still faithful, loyal, obedient and constant, and He says when He comes, and see that faithfulness, He will reward us. I pray you will be part of that church.

3 points;

Point 1. His Perception of the Secret Condition of all Hearts

Revelations 2:2,9,13,19; Job 34:21,22; Psalms 139:1-4; 44:20-21; Jeremiah 23:23,24; Daniel 2:22; Ecclesiastes 12:14; Mark 4:22,23; 1 Corinthians 4:5

We came to study the Bible. To listen to Christ and the word of the Lord Himself.

There is no maybe, its final, He knows. It is not a report, not a suggestion, nor by gossips, but directly He knows you. He even knows where we live, our surrounding, all the things around us. Concerning everyone He knows what your loved one do not know about you. He knows about you – husbands, wives, employees, employers, church members. Here is Jesus Christ, the One that follows you through and through, He knows the backsliders, sinners, hypocrites, saints of God.  He knows your heart, thoughts, obedience or disobedience, faithfulness, unfaithfulness, secret loyalty, hidden corruptions and your life is shrinking. He wants us to do something about our hidden lives, and turn away from all those corruptions in Jesus Name. He sees you as your open that door, stretch forth your hands, touch the unclean, He sees everything. There is no darkness where you can hide yourself from Him. He knows what you say, do, or practice the word of God as you hear. He knows. When you think and meditate on that thing, have an evil intention, He knows. God is never taken by surprises, he knows.

There is a God up in heaven, He sees everyone, and your conscience is telling you, if you don’t repent from all those corruptions and dirtiness in your life, you will regret it in all eternity. How many people are going to church on Sunday, and go into occultism during the week. God knows all about it. Nobody will gatecrashed into heaven. You cannot play on God and get to heaven. He knows all the secrets of men. Others may not tell your secret but God knows. This is the time to make amend and be washed in the blood of the Lamb.

What do you think about God? You think God is blind, or afar off, that He cannot see. No, He knows, He is a God of Knowledge, He will sees you afar off. He knows everything. He knows you through and through.

What are we to do about this, knowing the God knows our secret plans, friendship, deals, covenant and unfaithfulness? What are we to do about this? God does not overlook evil, nor tolerate evil, nor gross over sin. No He doesn’t do that. He will bring all into judgement. He bring it out, don’t worry about what that brother or sister is doing.

Point 2. The Perseverance of Sanctified Christians in Holiness

Revelations 2:4-5,10; 1 John 2:13-14; Ephesians 5:26,27; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4; 5:22-24; 2 Timothy 2:21; Hebrews 13:12-14

Holiness is like a dress we put on, and it is evident, and when we put it on, people will see the character, example, fashion, form, grace and appearance of holiness in our lives. When you are going to your place of work, market place, you don’t put if off, and put on the garment of hypocrisy, it is a consistent garment that you put on every time. Anything you, say, that holiness will be there in your life and heart. It must be there all the time, in your language, behaviour, character, holiness

There are many people that keeps on the christian life as usual, but activity, services goes on, and whatever they have to offer goes on, but they have left their first love, obedience, devotion, attachment unto the Lord, commitment, sincerity, persistence, consecration unto the Lord. And the Lord sums everything up, I cant see that persistence because you have left your first love.

Do you know that preachers, pastors, ministers and the whole church repent, when we have left our first love and commitment. We repent as members as well when we have left our first love.

That is the root why people sin. If i tell him the truth, afraid of demotion, people tell lies, when you are persecuted, you are persecuted for righteousness sake but fear will make you to compromise. When people sin or backslide, its because they are afraid of position or title. Preachers change because of the fear of what people will say. But Jesus says that if you are going to perseverance in holiness, then fear will get out of your life. I will persevere in holiness.

The wicked one Satan is not going to heaven, and he knows that so he bring trials and temptations on your way, but I will overcome the wicked one. Whatever he presents or try to give me, I will overcome the wicked one. I will be strong as I accept and take in the word of God, to make a real transformation in my life.

When you are born again, you have outward holiness, but sanctification gives us inner holiness, in our thoughts, attitude, inner beauty and disposition. Inner holiness will come, and you will overcome the secret desire and love for materialism, money, cleanses from inner recesses of your mind, heart. He wants us to persevere in the outward and inner holiness, and when the trumpet sounds, we will go with Him.

Sanctification makes us holy through and through, no blemish nor defilement. All the inner imagination, day dreaming that is immoral, holiness will cleanse you from all these. You will not do anything that is unclean even by yourself.

There is a kind of language that appears evil, abstain from all appearance of evil, the way you handle money, account never balances, the text you send to other people, the way you dress that is suggestive, abstain from every appearance of evil.

What prepares us for the Master’s use? Not our grammar, knowledge, school, abilities, but holiness will prepare you for this.

We need to persevere in this kind of outward and inner holiness so that when the trumpet sound, we will be there in Jesus Name.

Point 3. The Provision for the Singleminded Conquerors in Heaven.

Revelations 2:7; Acts 7:55-59; 2 Corithians 5:2; Philippians 3:20,21; Colossians 1:5; 3:1-4; 1 Peter 1:3-4; Revelations 21:1-7

The only thing in their view, is that I want to be an overcomer. This is the one that has a single mind, pursuit and purpose in life and ministry. This one thing I want, I want to be an overcomer.

Overcoming is a personal choice. Not generic, that you single out yourself, to get this holiness of life, that others may not accept nor take it seriously, but because I want to get to heaven as my purpose, the opinion or attitude of man will not hinder me.

The only thing that he care about, is that I have seen heaven, and I want to go there

This is the one single thing that we pursue in life.

There are something we may not have here, but its laid up for me in heaven, so I will determine to get, and I will get there in Jesus Name.

This should be the thing that drives me, in everything I do, and refused to do, should be based on my pursuit of heaven, set my focus, ambition and affection on heaven. dead to the things of the world, to all the covetousness, name calling, women/men on the street, dead to all things because I am pursuing heaven.

I have my inheritance reserved in heaven for me.

Heaven is a state of eternal glory, and over there is the absence of all suffering, absence of all pain, absence of all sin, absence of all evil, over there, is the presence of all good, both the purest and the most exalted kind, and complete satisfaction of all desires of the soul at all times and throughout eternity, perpetual, continual possession and enjoyment of pleasures forever more when we get to the presence of God. And you will there in Jesus Name.

The mansions are prepared, the glory land and possession are ready for the people that are outwardly and inwardly holy. It is done.

I will get to heaven!

Ponder on this! Heaven is a state of eternal glory, and over there is the absence of all suffering, pain, sin, evil, over there, is the presence of all good; both the purest and the most exalted kind, and complete satisfaction of all desires of the soul at all times and throughout eternity, perpetual, continual possession and enjoyment of pleasures forever more when we get to the presence of God.
